Why analyse garden soils?
Garden soils are important sanctuaries for both people and wildlife often in urban areas. HuttonSoils determine soil fertility, pH and organic matter to enable garden soil to be cultivated effectively. Minimising possible fertiliser usage, advising on soil pH and ensuring gardening for healthy soils.
What happens when analysing garden soils?
You take a soil sample using the instructions supplied within the HuttonSoils sample kit. Posted to the laboratory using the FreePost label within the kit. At the laboratory the soil samples are labelled and prepared for analysis. Soil fertility (concentrations of potassium (K), phosphorus (P) & magnesium (Mg)), the pH (whether the soil is acidic, neutral or alkaline) & organic matter are determined to enable gardeners and allotment holders to manage their soil effectively and maximise yield. Whilst managing artificial inputs. Results are reported using our easy-to-read report via email.
How to sample your garden soil?
Place an order for a soil sample kit online using our website. Using the FreePost service your soil samples are sent to our accredited laboratories. On receipt the samples are prepared and analysed. Data are reported in an easy-to-understand format via e-mail.
